Right Worshipful Gregory D. Wraggs

Gregory Dorail Wraggs was the youngest of nine children born to the Late Roy Haynes and Maggie Holmes in Louisville, Mississippi on February 26, 1966. After graduating from Louisville High School in 1984, he went into the U.S. Army where he served for over twenty years and retired in June 2005. While serving on active duty he received his degree with Pierce College. He presently works for the U.S. Government in Bremerton. He’s a member of Shiloh Baptist Church in Tacoma, Washington.

Brother Wraggs has a very involved Masonic career to date. His Masonic career began in 1988 when he was initiated, passed and raised to the sublime degree of a Master Mason in Rising Star #18 in Lawton, Oklahoma. He demitted into Pride of Washington #98 where he is a Chartered member. He was appointed Junior Deacon, elected Treasurer and Senior Warden and eventually elected to the oriental chair as Worshipful Master in 1997. Continuing his Masonic career in Washington State he served as District Deputy  Grand Master #11 (2002- 2003)and Special District Deputy Grand Master (2003-2004) and  District Deputy Grand Master #2 (2006-2008) and part of a number of Grand Lodge Committees.

Brother Wraggs joined Scottish Rite Masonry in 1995 becoming a member of Cascadian Consistory #75 then demitting when District #11 was formed to Capital City Consistory #106 where he is presently the Illustrious Commander-in-Chief, has served as a Thrice Potent Master; a Past Potentate of Yemen Temple #152 (A.E.A.O.N.M.S.). He is a past High Priest of William L. Gardner Chapter #4 who under his leadership was Chapter of the Year (2002).

R.W. Wraggs has 2 teenagers and 1 adult child; Greg (14), Qwaknesa (17), Ticara (24). He’s blessed with one grandchild Zahneiyah (3).
