Right Worshipful Kenneth Williams

 

Right Worshipful Kenneth Williams the son of Brother Auguster D. Williams and Bessie L. Peake was born in Buffalo, New York December 19, 1962.

He is a 1980 graduate of Seneca Vocational High School in Buffalo, New York.  He then attended Erie Community College and later attended Excelsior College were he received Associates of Science Degree in Administrative/Management Studies February 20, 2004, currently pursuing Bachelors Degree in Criminal Justice with Excelsior College.  

On February 12, 1982 R.W. Williams joined the United States Navy, were he has served for over 25 years and advanced to the rank of Senior Chief Petty Officer. His military assignments include, USS CALOOSAHATCHEE, AMPHIBIOUS CONSTRUCTION BATTALION TWO, USS DOYLE, Naval Regional Contraction Center, London, England, Commander SEVENTH Fleet Staff embarked onboard USS BLUE RIDGE Flag Ship Japan and currently serving at U.S. Space and Naval Warfare System Center Norfolk, Detachment Western Pacific, Japan. During his distinguished military career he has received five Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medals, Five Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medals, Two Joint Meritorious Unit Award, Three Navy and Marine Corps Merit Unit Award, Navy Battle “E” Award, Five Navy Good Conduct Medals, National Defense Medal, Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, Southwest Asia Medal, Global War On Terrorism Service Medal, Five Navy Sea Service Deployment Medals and Two Navy Oversea Service Medal. 

He retired from United States Navy May 31, 2008 after 26 years of dedicated service.

R.W. Williams received his 3rd Degree in Masonry March 18, 2000, in Russell S. Gideon Lodge No. 78, London, England, District No. 9, Most Worshipful Prince Hall Grand Lodge of Washington and Jurisdiction. Served as Senior Warden from 2001-2002 and later elected as Worshipful Master of the lodge from 2002 -2003, from which he received Worshipful Master of the Quarter for District Nine and then later received Worshipful Master of the year 2002 for Washington and Jurisdiction he is currently a Past Master of Russell S. Gideon. He is currently an honorary member of Revelations Lodge No. 97, District 6 which he was appointed as Assistant Grand Lecturer for District 6 in 2005 and in 2006 was appointed as Youth Director for Mainland Japan where he was very instrumental in providing the investiture of the Knights of Pythagoras to over thirty Knights. Was District Deputy Grand Master of District No. 6 before moving to the Philippines in June 2008.

He was elevated to the 32nd degree in Prince Hall W.E.B. Dubois Consistory No. 116, Lakenheath, England and in 2001 served as the Illustrious First Lieutenant Commander where he is still a current member.   He is an assistant patron in Stars of Great Britain Chapter No. 45, O.E.S., Lakenheath, England. 

He was also created a Noble of the Mystic Shrine on 8 October 2004 as a member of As-Sami Temple No. 225, Ancient Egyptian Arabic Order Nobles Mystic Shrine, and North and South America, Inc. located at Yokota Air Base, Tokyo Japan.  He is a member of St. Luke RAM Chapter #5, Alpha & Omega Council #5 and Rodney E. Mormon Commandery #5 located at Yokota Air base Japan.

He received the Honorary Thirty-Third and last degree in Masonry as a member of Class of 2006 Courtney P. Houston Jr. in Detroit, Michigan.

He is a member of St. John’s Baptist church in Buffalo, New York and continues to devote himself to God and Family. Kenneth Williams believes that there is no greater pleasure than to put in work for Charity!

R.W. Williams is married to Mrs. Reshel M. Williams and is the proud parent of four children, Kenneth Jr., Whitney, Chelsie and Christina.
