Right Worshipful Gregory Nicholson

R.W. Gregory O. Nicholson, Masonic Journey began when he petitioned Anchor & Ark Military Lodge No. 64 on Kunsan Air Base, South Korea in July 2001.  He was initiated Entered Apprentice, Passed to the Degree of Fellowcraft and Raised to the Sublime Degree of a Master Mason in said Lodge.

Other Masonic affiliations include membership in the following Bodies:

December 2001, R.W. Nicholson was elevated to the 32° Degree of a Sublime Prince of the Royal Secret in Matthew Ellis Consistory No. 170, Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite Freemasonry, Prince Hall Affiliated (P.H.A.), Southern Jurisdiction.  Upon his change of address to Yokota Air Base Japan, R.W. Nicholson demitted into John J. Story Consistory #111, Northern Jurisdiction and was created a Noble in October 2002 in As-Sami Temple No. 225, Ancient Egyptian Arabic Order Nobles of the Mystic Shrine (A.E.A.O.N.M.S.).

October 2003, he was obligated and became a member of Sakura Chapter No. 28, Order of Eastern Star of the Grand High Chapter of Washington and Jurisdiction.

November 2003, he was exalted to the August and Sublime Degree of a Holy Royal Arch Mason of St. Luke Chapter No. 5, Holy Royal Arch Masons (H.R.A.M.), greeted as a Royal and Select Illustrious Master of Alpha & Omega Council No. 5, created and dubbed into the Magnanimous Degree of Knight Templar, Rodney E. Momon Commandery No. 5, (K.T.) in which he served as class president.

 Also in the year 2003, R.W. Nicholson was appointed by the Sovereign Grand Inspector General, Billy H. Hall, as the Council of Deliberation Illustrious Grand Secretary of the Orient of the Far East.  As a 32° degree Mason R.W. Nicholson had the distinct privilege to confer with other Honorary 33° Degree Masons on the works of the Far East Orient.  In 2007 he received his coronation to the Honorary 33° degree as a member of Carl L. Wilson class.  In 2008 R.W. Nicholson, as Commander-In-Chief guide his consistory to the distinct honor of Consistory of the Year for the Far East Orient. 

In August 2007, R.W. Nicholson was initiated into Clara B. White Court #11, Heroines of Jericho where he was appointed as 1st Court Director.  In the ensuing year of 2008 RW Nicholson was elected and served as Worthy Joshua of said court.     

Additionally, R.W. Nicholson has been achieved many accolades throughout his military career to 374 Maintenance Group 2008 Tuskegee Airman Margaret Frances Barbour Military award; 2007 Lance P. Sijan Leadership award; 2007 Noncommissioned Officer of the Year and 374 Maintenance Group Professional of the Year.

Right Worshipful Nicholson remains current in all his Masonic houses and credits his success to many who have traveled this way and whispered wise council to him during his Masonic career.  He is member of God’s Vision Missionary Baptist Church in his home town of Louisburg N.C.  Thanks his mother, who has always been a pillar of strength and a guide in his young life on earth.
